Michael Paolini
Head Men's Soccer Coach

Michael Paolini
will enter his third year as the head men's soccer coach. Most recently,
Paolini was the assistant soccer coach at LeMoyne College where he helped
lead the Dolphins to playoff berths in each of his four seasons. He also
currently coaches the U12 girls Syracuse Football Club which became the
first girls team in New York State history to win a Regional Championship.
Paolini played professionally with the New Hampshire Phantoms for three
seasons and participated in the Rochester Rhinos training camp out of college.
Paolini tallied two goals
and two assists in his rookie season with the USL D3 club.
Paolini holds a National
Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) advanced national and national
diploma.
A four-year starter at Plattsburgh,
Paolini was named first team all-SUNYAC, all-region, team Most Valuable
Player and All-American honors his senior year.
He graduated with a bachelor
of science in Hotel Restaurant Tourism Management in May of 1999. Since
graduation, he has served as the Director of Soccer at the Central New
York Family Sports Centre in Baldwinsville, N.Y., Co-Director of the Syracuse
Football Club, and Owner/ Director of Professional 1v1/Team Training-Pao’s
Soccer School of Excellence.
In addition to coaching men’s
soccer, Paolini will oversee event management for athletics.

MVP = Most Valuable Player – Awarded
by the team to the player who exhibits exceptional athletic ability and
has made an outstanding contribution to the team.
Rookie = Rookie Award – Awarded by
the team to a first year player who demonstrates the skill and personal
characteristics that are reflected in the philosophy of intercollegiate
athletics.
Express = Lesley Wead Zabriskie Express
Award – Was established in 1990 and named in 1994, in honor of Lesley Wead
Zabriskie, Director of Physical Education from 1938-1946. Awarded annually
to a member of each intercollegiate team who embodies the true ideals of
team commitment, leadership, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship.
