Jamey Ventura joined the Wells College Coaching staff in July 2007. Ventura is looking to build a competitive women’s soccer program that will be successful both in the classroom and on the field.

Prior to coming to Wells College, Ventura worked hard to build the Green Mountain College women’s soccer program back to greatness.  In his last season, Ventura guided the program to an 18-1 season and the NCAA Association of Division III Independent Regional Championship. During his tenure the program produced 3 all Americans, 2 academic all Americans, 1 Championship, 2 runner-up championships, 10 all tournament team players, and 12 all independent team players.

Prior to coming to Green Mountain College, Ventura spent two years as an assistant at Kenyon College. Ventura has also directed 20 different teams in Monroe County at the Perinton Recreation, Fairport Soccer Club and high school levels. Ventura holds a United States Soccer Federation D license and is a member of both the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the US Soccer Coaches Organization. Coach Ventura is a 1999 graduate of State University of New York, Brockport where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor degree in psychology and a minor in elementary education. Ventura also earned an associate degree in liberal arts and sciences from Monroe Community College.
