Thursday, May 31

1:00 – 9:00 p.m. Reunion officially begins! Registration desk open. Refreshments available 1:00–5:00 p.m. Faculty Parlors, Main Building.

1:00 – 4:30 p.m. Bookstore open.  Smith Hall

1:00 – 4:30 p.m. Library open. Featuring archival displays.

1:00 – 9:00 p.m. String Room Gallery open. Featuring a collection of local photographs by Jacqueline Conderacci. Main Building

3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Pool and fitness/cardio rooms open. Come enjoy the new state-of-the-art fitness center. Schwartz Athletic Center 

3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Campus Art Tour. Hidden treasures in plain view – art and architecture on the Wells campus. 
 Leave from the String Room Gallery, Main Building

5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Welcoming Reception at the President’s home. Greet President Ryerson and see historic Taylor House. (Transportation available).  396 Main Street, Aurora

6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Dinner with Alumnae College faculty. Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College Leslie Miller-Bernal will introduce Alumnae College faculty.

7:30 – 8:00 p.m. Alumnae College Keynote Address. Dean Leslie Miller-Bernal talks about “Women’s Colleges Since the 1960s: How Have Women's Colleges Fared?"  Dining Hall

8:00 – 10:00 p.m. Cordials and Music on the Terrace. Book signing by Dean Miller-Bernal. (Cash Bar) Weld House
 

Friday, June 1

9:00 – 10:15 a.m. Alumnae College Session led by Professor of Physics Scott Heinekamp, “It's Always Darkest Before the Dawn: How has the Physics of Dark Matter Changed Our Understanding of the Stuff that Makes Up the Universe?”  (see Alumnae College program for description) Art Exhibit Room, Macmillan Hall

10:15 – 10:45 a.m. Coffee Break.   Art Exhibit Room Lobby, Macmillan Hall.

10:45 a.m. – Noon Alumnae College Session led by Interim Head Librarian Lynn Brown,
  “From Discovery to Creation:  The Role of the Library in the 21st Century Academy” (see Alumnae College program for description)  Art Exhibit Room, Macmillan Hall 

Noon – 1:30 p.m. Lunch.  Dining Hall.

1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Pool and fitness/cardio rooms open. Come enjoy the new state-of-the-art fitness center.  Schwartz Athletic Center 

1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Canoeing and Kayaking. Weather permitting. Life jackets must be worn.

1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Architectural Walking Tour of Wells and Aurora.  See the architectural details gracing the campus and village and hear about the history of some of the noteworthy buildings. (2-mile walk).  Meet in lobby of Macmillan Hall

1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Alumnae College Session led by Director of Off-Campus Studies John Wells, “Globalization and Diversity: Moving from Separation to Integration.” (see Alumnae College program for description) Art Exhibit Room, Macmillan Hall

1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Alumnae College Session led by Professor A. Thomas Vawter, “All Aboard!: Studying Cayuga Lake on the Floating Classroom.” (see Alumnae College program for description and appropriate attire) Sign up at the Registration Desk. Limit of 18.
 Meet in Lecture Hall 107, Zabriskie Hall then move to the College dock

1:30 – 4:00 p.m. MacKenzie-Childs Visit and Tour. Browse in The Shop, see a Studio Tour video, explore the gardens and tour the Victorian farmhouse. Two tours of the farmhouse are offered at 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. sharp. (No cost) Each tour is 45 minutes long and can take a limited amount of people.  (Transportation available from Wells at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Returning to Wells at 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.)  Meet in front of Main

3:00 – 3:30 p.m. Student Presentation and Exhibit by Addie Katz ’07, “A Platform for Art: The Fine Arts in London’s Underground.” Addie just returned from London where she did an internship with Transport for London’s “Platform for Art”. She will be focusing on the posters and art exhibitions in the tube. 2nd Floor circulation area, Long Library

4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Wine Tasting Reception with Faculty and Staff. Hosted by the Alumnae Association. Featuring local wines from King Ferry and Long Point Wineries.  Lobby, Macmillan Hall

4:00 – 9:00 p.m. Children’s Program, featuring dinner and activities.  Basement Lounge, Main Building

5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Annual Alumnae Address. President Lisa Marsh Ryerson.  Phipps Auditorium, Macmillan Hall

10:00 a.m. Reunion Parade. Wells women of all ages march from Barler Hall to Macmillan Hall. Led by the Wells Fargo coach and accompanied by the ringing of the bells.

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Reunion Dinner. Enjoy a wonderful dinner with your class. Tickets required. Cocktails and hors’doeuves at 6 p.m., dinner served at 6:30 p.m. Cash bar available.

8:00 – 11:00 p.m. Reunion Party. The night will feature skits, gift presentations by the 25th, 40th and 50th Reuning classes, music and dancing - you won’t want to miss this! Cash bar available. Aurora Inn
