| Built in 1957, Schwartz Center houses
the dance and ballet studios, indoor tennis courts, gymnasium, weight room,
and swimming pool. The college also has a picturesque nine-hole golf course
partially designed by Robert Trent Jones, all-weather tennis courts, athletic
and playing fields, a boathouse with sailboats and canoes, and a dock.
Wells athletes compete in six intercollegiate
sports including soccer, tennis, swimming, field hockey, softball, and
lacrosse. Wells is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association,
at the Division III level, the Atlantic Women's College Conference, and
the New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association. |
